Plans Prepared for Langdon-Down by Roland Plumbe, FRIBA, 13 Fitzroy Square W. Ten members of the Plumbe family had been early subscribers to the Earlswood Asulum. Rowland’s mother had met Langdon Down when he admitted her step-son Edenezar to Earlswood in 1859. Plumbe was President of the Architectural Association in 1871/72 and was famous for many residential schemes across London.
