We wish to acknowledge the generous support of the following organisations, individuals and friends of the Langdon Down Centre, Down’s Syndrome Association, Langdon Down Museum and Normansfield Theatre.
Heritage Lottery Fund
HLF grants have supported the exhibition Pullen: Ships of Reality and the Imagination which opened in 2012 and the project Normansfield – Protecting a Theatrical Past, which in 2015-17 made possible vital building works and photography to create a fully catalogued, digital archive of the Victorian scenery.
The Normansfield and Richmond Foundation
The charity supports adults with learning disabilities in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and former residents of Normansfield. It has made possible many of the display boards which tell the story of the Langdon Down family and Normansfield. An information board about the charity can be seen on this wall.

Dr Trevor Hudson and Mr Neville Hudson
Trevor and Neville have made possible a number of significant improvements to the theatre, museum and archive. This has included the Pullen exhibits and several essential maintenance projects. Trevor and Neville’s brother Tony was a resident of Normansfield from 1945 to 1997. A display board about Tony can be seen in the Life Stories Room.
Teddington Society
The society is a volunteer organisation working to preserve and enhance the quality of life for everyone living and working in Teddington and contributed towards the re-glazing of several Victorian cabinets.
